 Our
rack mount cases are built with a reinforced aluminum case shell made from 0.090" thick 5052-H32 aircraft grade aluminum. Your
rack mount case will be heavy payload ready, built to your requirements. These cases will not crack, bow, sag or creep so you will be confident you can employ them into even the harshest
environmental conditions and still protect your equipment.
Built using either riveted or
welded aluminum construction, we integrate a proprietary formed panel joint system so that no edge can be torn off, crack or split. A proprietary square tubular extrusion offers unmatched
resistance to deflection and shear forces while valance corners are reinforced with proprietary investment cast lugs for
further strength.
 The rack frames in our
rack mount cases are made from 0.125" thick anodized aircraft grade aluminum and are supplied with vibration resistant clip-nuts with a locknut feature. For very heavy payloads our racks can be manufactured out of 11 gauge steel with a zinc dichromate plate finish. Elastomer shock mounts are installed to provide omni-directional attenuation of shock and vibration with payload ranging from 20 lbs up to over 350 pounds.
All rack mount cases come with a wear resistant, stackable skid pad system such that racks may be dragged across concrete and asphalt without damaging the underside. When stacked, the systems prevents sliding and is one of the most secure stacking systems available in today's market.
 Large heavy-duty spring loaded latches that are stronger and easier to open than the small
latches seen on many cases in the market, are another competitive feature of these cases. Our case handles are high strength, spring loaded and come with rubber grips for comfort. Another unique feature is a set of heavy-duty lid hangers that will not bend or break under stress and which are used to securely hang the lids on the side of the case when not in use.
We offer a number of modifications to our rack mount cases enabling use to meet just about any specifications you can give us.
 For instance most
rack mount cases come in standard 19" wide racks. If you require larger or smaller sized racks, we can provide them.
If you need an E.I.A. square hole pattern
instead of the standard round hole pattern, we can provide that. We also can install top and bottom equipment support rails, and adjustable vertical and horizontal support rails to add additional protection to your electronics. If you need fixed trays, we can provide them? Sliding
trays? No problem as are rack mountable drawers, bezel panels
 and cable pouches (installed in the lid), removable keyboard trays, padlock hasps, spring-loaded delta lift/tie-down rings, extra lid handles on the lids to facilitate a quick removal and installation of lids and coupling catches to proved added stability when the cases are
stacked. Finally we can provide 4: swivel casters with dual locking mechanism which makes it easy to move the case around.
 When in transit, these wheels are removed and stored in one of the lids.
While we have our standard colour selection of green, red, blue or black, we can
provide you with a custom colour to your rack mount case (powder coated) and add your corporate logo by silk screen on the shell along with custom identification tags placed where you want them to be.
